HKN Gang Leader, Davido took to his snapchat earlier to reveal to his fans and followers that he hasn’t been in an Economy Class while traveling in the past 10 years.

Any lady who gets married and because of what Pastor or Pastor’s wife said, you decide to be claiming equal rights with your husband, you will just be setting yourself up for crises, unhappy marriage, divorce.
Pastors who’re saying a couple is equal are wrong; the husband is the head of the wife, Christ the head of the husband, they’re not equal.
This “equality” they are forcing into marriage today is responsible for most of the fights and killings, even Oyibo men can’t cope when their wife pushes herself as equal; they marry and divorce recklessly, some end up killing their wife and present it as suicide.
Enough said! The wise will listen. Those who think they can change nature, continue. We’re watching.
Actress Foluke Daramola has made future clarification about her stand on gender equality. Hear her:
“What got me upset was the fact that there are some things people talk about but they are not able to back it up with facts. When you say gender equality, the role of a man can never be de-emphasised to the role of a woman. That is why Hillary and Bill Clinton cannot be the president of the US at the same time. Bill Clinton had to teach her the grinds and she followed suit.
The Bible says that the man would love the woman and she would submit and respect the man. That position can never be overemphasised. I just wanted to drive some message home but later on, I felt it was not really worth it. When you have a bad mindset, there is no how another person can change it. My own position as a gender-based activist is not for the woman to be competing with the man but to complement him. In the scheme of things, the man would always be the head and the woman would be the neck. It does not mean that the woman cannot turn the head to whatever direction she feels like.
My own stand point is that of most reasonable women. Take for instance, Omotola Jalade has come a long way and she has been able to keep her home. It is just because she has a little bit of feminism in her. She has been able to balance her home and her career and that is why she has been successful. At the end of the day when people are talking, they should be able to think deeply and not just talk from the surface.”
Tiwa Savage has finally broken her long silence on Social Media amidst her ongoing marriage crisis with husband, Tee Billz.
The mother of one made a post on her instagram page this morning thanking her fans for their prayers towards her family, which include Tee Billz and their son, Jamil.
She wrote, “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support and kind words this trying time,”
“Without it, I do no know how I would have made it through. Most importantly, thank you for your continued prayers for Tunji, Myself and Jamil. May God meet each and everyone of you in your time of need,” she added.
The man who allegedly killed his wife in the Egbeda, Lagos area, Lekan Shonde, has told PUNCH Metro that his wife, Ronke provoked him by describing vividly how her lover slept with her in a hotel in Abuja. Lekan spoke with PUNCH Metro on the telephone line provided by his in-law, Bolatito, which was also confirmed by the police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos.
Lekan, a depot worker in the Apapa area of Lagos State, said his wife of eight years changed after she allegedly started dating the general manager of a publishing company.
The Abeokuta, Ogun State indigene, said he regretted marrying Ronke, explaining that his late mother had warned him against the union, but he never listened.
The marriage, which was blessed with two children, aged six and four, was said to have been marred with domestic violence.
The crisis culminated in the death of Ronke on Thursday, after which her husband fled the house and locked up the children with their dead mother.
He said the last time he beat his wife was three years ago after a disagreement, saying he had never touched her afterwards.
He said:
“Since I married my wife eight years ago, she has never bought anything into the house. I gave her N5,000 on Saturdays and N3,000 on Tuesdays for soup. I also gave her money to make her hair.
“She was working with GTB as a marketer, but she got sacked three years ago. For that period, I was the one feeding her and taking responsibility for everything in the family. I would wash her pants, bathe the children and buy foodstuffs in the house. She later got a job with a publishing company owned by her uncle.
“But my wife changed sometime in March, when she started dating the general manger of a publishing company. My wife was going to the office from Monday to Sunday and she wasn’t going to church again, all because of this man. She called him ‘Eyitemi’ (My own).
“Last week Friday, she went to Abuja and came back on Monday. She never told me that the lover was there with her. I learnt later that the lover was there and they slept together in the same room for four days.
“When she came back, she didn’t know I was inside the house. She started talking with the man on the phone that he really had fun with him and I didn’t know how to make love. She again said her private parts were paining her.”
He said he confronted his late wife and she confirmed that she was dating the other man, adding that she asked her to concentrate on a relationship.
Lekan said his wife refused to leave the house despite his insistence on her leaving.
Recounting the incident of that night which led to her death, he said they had had an argument over money.
He said:
“It was around 9pm on Thursday. We had paid our nanny N20,000. Then we needed to pay our children’s teachers N30,000. I discovered she had taken N20,000 and when I asked her to return my money, she said she had spent it.
“I was angry because for the past three months, she didn’t allow me to have sex with her. I pushed her hand away from me on the staircase and I left her. She never tumbled or fell. In fact that night, I bought the food that we both ate because she said she didn’t want to cook.
“I didn’t know anything had happened to her until Friday when I saw her on the staircase. I thought she was still pretending. I just left her and walked away.”
Asked why he shut the gate against his children, he said he never did, adding that it was his son that closed that gate.
Lekan also denied taking the victim’s phone away, saying he left it on the bed.
He said he had no reason to kill his wife, adding that he bought her two cars and always provided for her needs.
He said:
“Jide, her family’s second child lived with me for three to four years. Their eldest daughter, Bolatito, has lived with me too.
“Although I am not a saint, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke. I am a responsible man. The problem with my wife was that she was temperamental. She shouted at me whenever she talked.
“I am a Lagos boy and I can be in this Lagos for the next 30 years and nobody would see me.”
Meanwhile, Ronke’s sibling, Bolatito, said their mother had just arrived in Lagos from Ilorin, Kwara State, adding that the family would not want to talk about the incident yet.
Our correspondent gathered that Ronke’s brother and the second born of the family, died in a ghastly motor accident in Abuja.
Bolatito, who is the first born, is the surviving child of three children.
She said:
“My mother just arrived from Ilorin and the family wants to devote time to attend to her; we don’t want to talk about the incident. I am not in the right frame of mind to talk.
“But all I want to say is that her husband is somewhere out there and has been calling. The police should reach out to the telecommunications company to know where he is. He called me and he said he wanted to see me.
“He also said he wanted to see his children and I should tell him where they are because we might never see him again.”
The aunt of the victim, Bunmi, explained that the suspect had been threatening suicide, saying their mother had forgiven him.
She said:
“Mummy is very sad with this, but she has forgiven him and does not want him to commit suicide.”
A family source told PUNCH Metro that the domestic violence had been on for some time, saying at a point, the matter was reported at a police station.
He said the suspect always accused his wife of extra-marital affair.
He said, “He always beat her because of his belief that she was into an extra-marital affair.
“The beating reduced a bit when the wife of her late brother who was one month pregnant before his death, moved into the house with them. She stayed for about eight months. She was like her saviour.”
The Convener of the Women Arise for Change Initiative, Mrs. Joe Odumakin, while condoling with the family, said the group would pursue the case till the end.
She said, “I am shattered and heart-broken. Their mother had been a widow since they were all little and she has lost two of three children in less than one year. And it is hard to believe that the killer husband has been chatting with people, asking to see his children and blatantly lying that he only slapped her.
“Neighbours must learn to intervene when they hear unusual noise. And women, who are in abusive relationships, must speak out before it is too late. Lekan should come out and submit himself so he could be tried in a court, where he will have the chance to prove his innocence.”

The Lagos State Police Command has launched a manhunt for Mr. Lekan Shonde, who allegedly killed his banker-wife, Ronke, in Lagos on Thursday night.
Ronke Shonde, a mother of two, was found dead in their apartment located on Tiemo Close, Off Awori Street, in the Egbeda-Idimu area of Lagos State on Friday morning.
The husband was said to have fled with his wife’s mobile phones after the incident occurred.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos Command, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident on Saturday, adding that the matter had been transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.
She said “marks of violence” were found on Ronke, suggesting that she was murdered in cold blood.
The police spokesperson further said the command had launched a manhunt for the husband of the deceased.
Badmos said, “Yes, I confirm the incident. It was reported on Friday at about 8am by the landlady. She said at about 7am, she heard the screaming of Mrs. Ronke Shonde’s children, who is one of her tenants, as they couldn’t find the key to open their door from inside.
“When the door was forced open from outside, the lifeless body of the victim was found on the floor.
“Police operatives visited the scene and the corpse was removed and deposited at the Isolo General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.”
The police spokesperson explained that the deceased’s husband was at large and could not be reached on his telephone lines, which had been switched off.
“Effort is on to get him. The command will certainly get to the root of the case. The case has been transferred to the homicide section of the SDCI for discreet investigation,” she added.
Some residents of the street on which the couple lived, who spoke to SUNDAY PUNCH when one of our correspondents visited the area on Saturday, lamented that the deceased had been enduring an abusive marriage.
It was gathered that Ronke was the second of three siblings to die within two years.
A neighbour, who has a shop on the street, said Ronke died on Thursday night but the neighbours did not know until Friday morning.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the neighbour said, “It is a very unfortunate incident. The man had serially abused and assaulted his wife until the Thursday attack led to her death.
“He would tie her, beat her and take her mobile phones away. She should have left him long ago.”
The neighbour said the couple lived comfortably, as the wife worked with Guaranty Trust Bank while her husband works at the Apapa depot of Mobil.
The neighbour also said,
“The husband is much older than the wife; the woman was in her 30s while man should be in his 50s.”
The neighbour further said, “Some people heard when she screamed on Thursday night but nobody knew what happened to her until her nanny raised the alarm on Friday morning.
“I was one of those who packed her remains. She had injuries on her head, neck and around her private parts. There were blood stains on the walls, which indicated that she must have struggled with him until he overpowered her.
“She was a light-skinned person but by the time we broke into their apartment, her body was already becoming dark and swollen. A doctor who conducted some tests on her said she must have been killed around 11pm on Thursday.”
According to the neighbour, Ronke’s mother had three children, while her younger brother died about a year ago. He lamented that her death might have been prevented if her brother’s wife, who had been living with them, was home on Thursday night.
When one of our correspondents sought to speak with the couple’s immediate neighbours on Saturday, their residence, which had two buildings one of which was said to be occupied by the landlady, was shut.
Another resident in the area, who also declined to be named in print, said the police had sealed up the couple’s flat, while other occupants of the building had shut the gate to visitors ever since.
“The flat was not just sealed. The police called a welder to weld the doors, which are made of iron to protect the crime scene,” the souce said.
The neighbour added that Ronke’s uncle came to take the children to their grandmother who is based in Kwara State.

Anyway, she recently granted a tell-it-all interview with one of Nigeria’s biggest print media company Vanguard newspaper and she revealed some intimate things about herself.
When asked about her intimate life, she said:“I don’t really enjoy s*x, I prefer romance. Meanwhile, I don’t have s*x often because I don’t have a man presently. But that does not mean I won’t sort myself whenever the need arises. I can always arrange that”.
