JUST IN:Trump Removes Communications Director 2 weeks after hiring him

Two weeks after hiring him, President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director. This also comes days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

The wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president, not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge,NY Daily reports.

It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.

Flood kills 23 in Gombe

The Gombe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said 23 persons were killed and five others missing in Gombe flood disaster between June and July.

Malam Mohammed Garba, Acting Head of Rescue and Rehabilitation of the agency made the disclosure to journalists in Gombe on Monday.

He said six persons died at Dadinkowa in Yamaltu-Deba flood on June 6; 16 died on July 1 and July 25 in Gombe town.

Garba said that 21 houses were also destroyed by the flood while 101 houses were home to floods in three communities in the state.

He said that the flood also washed away a total of 119 farmlands at Jauro Baba, Jauro Mai and Jauro Saini communities at Kamo Ward in Kaltungo Local Government of the state

Schoolboy Cruz Velazquez, from Mexico, was filmed sipping the highly-toxic drug after being stopped at US customs.

Neither of the officers who were involved in the horrifying incident, Adrian Parellon and Valerie Baird, have been reprimanded or prosecuted.

It is thought one of Mexico’s well-known drug cartels provided the youngster with two bottles, having threatened to kill his sister if he did not cross the border.

 Botched doctors were left stunned when they met a patient who wants bigger lips, even though he already can’t close his mouth.

Jonathan mets with Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif to enlarge his pout even more but the doctors are seriously worried for Jonathan’s health.

‘Why Nigeria Will Stop Oil Production’- Kachikwu

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has stated that Nigeria will have to halt oil production if the cost of producing the commodity keeps skyrocketing.

Kachikwu stated this on Monday in his address at the opening ceremony of the Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Lagos.

According to him, the country was being left behind by its peers who had dramatically reduced their costs of production.

“When you look at the cost of production in Nigeria, it remains blatantly high. Our cost per barrel today is about $27 per barrel for JV (joint venture) fields. In Saudi Arabia, it is about $9. So we are way apart in terms of cost that anything that happens will hit us very hard,” Kachikwu said.

The minister said, “Even though we have been singing over the last two years that we need to drive cost down, the current figure that I still have showing me the numbers of last year have not shown me a major dramatic reduction in the cost of production.”

He said they would compel a reduction in the cost because, “there is no way this country will produce oil at this sort of swelling prices that we see; there will be no margins left for country.”

According to Kachikwu, only oil companies who are able to drive down costs will have a footage in Nigeria.

He said, “For me, you rather leave the oil in the ground than produce at a cost that doesn’t make sense. So, cost is going to be a very high driver. So that is certainly one area we are focusing on; we are working collaboratively with oil companies.

“But let’s make no mistake about it: If we cannot negotiate it down, we will compel it or we will stop the production; it does not make any sense.”

Manchester United Star Slapped With Two-match Ban For Misconduct

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has been handed two-match ban for verbally abusing a UEFA anti-doping officer during their Europa League final.

The English star will miss the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid and their first game in the Champions League next season.

Phil Jones is understood to have verbally abused a doping control officer after he was asked to undergo an examining test after the final game in Stockholm.

Manchester United have also been fined £8,900 for breaching doping rules and the club have been given three days to appeal against the rulings.

Lightning Kills 21 In India

21 people have reportedly been struck dead by lightning in eastern India.

The lightning struck several part of the country killing 18 in Odisha state, and another three died in Jharkhand state.

10 people were also injured by the widespread bolts as storms erupted over rice paddies, as it is reported that most victims of the lightning were farmers working on their farms.

But in Jharkhand, two brothers in Kharswan district were killed when the lightning penetrated the thatched roof of their house.

In the western state of Gujarat, 213 people have been killed in weeks of flooding, state disaster management officials said, almost doubling the death toll after about 100 bodies were found when water started receding.

Suresh Kumar, West Bengal’s top disaster management official, said 31 deaths were reported in a week of flooding in the state.

“Heavy rains have caused massive damage in several districts,” Kumar told AFP.

Landslides and flash floods in the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam since April have left dozens dead, while Jharkhand and Bihar have also been badly hit. Nearly 140 lightning deaths have been reported in Bihar since May.

Lightning kills thousands of Indians every year, especially during the June-October monsoon — most of them farmers working the fields.

A high court in Rivers state has sentenced three persons to death for lynching 4 students in Aluu community in 2012.

The Court presided over by Justice Nyordee has also discharged and acquitted the remaining 4, TVC reports.

According to the Judge, the prosecution failed to prove it’s case of murder against the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th accused persons beyond every reasonable doubt.

He however found the 1st to 3rd defendants guilty of murder.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to CNN jest of President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence .

All in the name of ‘getting rich quick syndrome’ and perhaps to be evidence of the swoon song “30 billion in the account” They’ve mortgaged their future, destiny and soul for money that could be their own in life. Yes!! theirs.

Roughly 5 years ago an herbalist who had converted to a believer told me_ first hand, how voodoo works; he said “you only make all the money you will earn in your entire life in only a short amount of time. If you are supposed to make 100 million in 80 years of your life, you will make that same amount of money within 5 years, then death or something bad follows”.

‘A Thief can only steal from himself’, when a person steals he is simply stealing from his future. Some people are suffering from the outcome of their Great Grand Father’s actions “When the devil gives you a cap, he will take the cap back with your head”. Before then, get MIND. I challenge you to have a brave MIND. the kind of bravery I’m talking about is not of evil but the common mind to resist temptations, ‘there is dignity in labor’. Thence I challenge you to live honestly within your own means, and not dishonestly upon the means of others.

I want to encourage us to have the right courage. Be brave enough to struggle like real men, courageously embrace disappointments, let your soul posses it self under every vicissitudes, be strong enough to convert your pitfalls into sky rise, your stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Ensure your father and mother are proud of what you do, make the greatest country in Africa ‘Nigeria’ proud again, make your self proud, and above all? Make God Almighty in heaven look at you and say: “That’s my child”.

Any young man who dares to display himself in this right silent effort and endeavor, and dares to endure all the sufferings all for truth and duty is more truly heroic than the achievements of a Thief in king clothings. When we have the orientations of a brave MIND or ‘The True Billionaires Mind’ like I tagged it; the world in no time will surely step aside to let US pass.

Court Dissolves 5-Year Old Marriage Due To Suicidal Attempts And Battery

A 5-year old marriage has been dissolved by a  Jos Upper Area Court, on Monday over wife battery and infidelity.

The petitioner, Mercy Zoakah ,told the court that her husband of five years, Danjuma Zoakahoften beat her and is cruel.

She also said her husband cheats on her as she has proof of messages from other women to him.

The petitioner also said that the respondent had on several occasions made attempts to commit suicide and had once been disarmed with a knife by neighbours while trying to kill himself.

Mercy, however, urged the court to dissolve the marriage as there was no love between them, while the respondent pleaded with the court not to dissolve the marriage as he still loves his wife.

Delivering his judgment, the Judge, Yahaya Mohammed, said the couple could no longer live together as the marriage has broken down irretrievably.

Mohammed said, “The court has no choice than to dissolve the marriage, in spite the fact that the husband still claims he loves his wife, but his wife insists on getting a divorce.

“Both parties are no longer husband and wife, and they are free to go their separate ways.”

The court, however, granted custody of their only child to the petitioner, and gave the father of the child the right to visit the child within a reasonable interval.

He said that any aggrieved party had 30 days within which to appeal the judgment.

The sight of two women pummeling each other hard on Friday night on Coney Island in New York has gone viral.

The fight which could not be stopped by police saw a group of women fighting each other at about 11 p.m.

The video captures two police officers trying to put an end to the violence but were unable to stop them.
At the end of the day, 8 people were arrested. Six women were arrested that night, police said. Delicia Walker, Victoria Alexender, Tyra Budoo, Nyasra Budoo, Aijae Smith and Jaaleessa Burks, all from Brooklyn and aged between 17 and 25, were charged with assaulting a police officer. Two men – Marquise Rowell, 22, and Steven Bowens, 20 – were also arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. Bowens was also charged with criminal possession of a knife, though police said it was not used during the fight.
