Wande Coal dedicates album to fans

Nigerian hip hop artiste, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, aka Wande Coal has dedicated his sophomore album titled Wanted to his fans. The new album, billed to be released on Monday, October 26, is coming after a long wait by his fans.
“Finally Black Diamond presents Wanted, my sophomore album. This is for the diehard fans, the critics, haters, media houses and most importantly for those who never stopped believing. This is a reminder of who I was and who I have evolved into. This is where I want to be Wanted,” the singer cum dancer posted on his Instagram page.
Reacting to the singer’s post, one of his fans posted; “Never really done this before but I just had to because is been long overdue and because you’re my best Nigerian artiste. Plus I’m your No1 fan, so I’m super excited about this. You have the most amazing voice in the game, the most talented nigga ever.  Congratulations on this new album I’m certain it would be nothing less than perfection, anticipating the finest tunes as always and more blessings.”
Like most of Nigeria’s celebrated musicians, Wande Coal started singing in the teenage choir at his church. He got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a dancer. He continued improving on his vocals skills and got signed to Don Jazzy’s Mo’hits records in 2006.
Wande Coal later released his debut album, Mushin to Mo’Hits which was widely received across Nigeria, UK and the USA.

In November 2013, the artiste parted ways with Mavin Record with the record label siting irreconcilable differences.
“It is with deep regret that we officially announce the departure of recording artist Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, from Mavin Records due to irreconcilable differences… Both Mavin Records and Wande Coal have enjoyed a remarkable run in the course of their working relationship. It is unfortunate that conflicting priorities contributed to the premature curtailment of a hitherto fruitful accord,” a statement from the label  read
