Father Of 3 Commits Suicide Over N60,000 Debt

A man named Kola has reportedly committed suicide over a N60,000 loan he collected from LAPO Microfinance bank.

The incident, which happened at the Egbeda area of Lagos, saw Kola, drinking Hypo stain remover after LAPO microfinance bank threatened to seize his entire property after taking back the motorcycle, due to his failure to pay back as agreed.

On the day the incident happened, Kola secretly bought Hypo, drank and died inside his room on top of his bed.

When his family returned from church, they found him dead with the empty hypo plastic container beside him.

All efforts to reach the public relations officer of the Lagos Police command were in vain as the number was switched off.
