Nigerian Warden Jailed For s3xually Assaulting Transgender Inmate

A Correctional Officer, Olukunle A. Oyekanmi, at Montgomery County, Maryland, has been arrested for s3xually assaulting a transgender inmate in her cell.

CCTV positioned in the cell showed Oyekanmi, 41, entered the woman’s cell about 6:20 a.m. and s3xually assaulted her, police said.

Surveillance video showed Oyekanmi was in the inmate’s cell at the time of the alleged attack.

The suspect admitted to the assault when he was arrested in his home on Tuesday evening.

Oyekanmi is charged with second-degree s3x offense, second-degree assault, s3xual contact with an inmate and malfeasance in office. He was released after he posted $20,000 bond.
