A Kenyan man has committed suicide after killing his wife. The woman who was a primary school teacher was stabbed to death in their home on Monday night.Her husband after the murder then committed suicide by hanging himself in their room.
According to reports, the woman identified as Jacinta Nyambura, 25, was found in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds to the chest, neck and stomach.
Neighbors said they heard the two arguing before the woman was heard screaming but nothing could be done as the house was locked.
They however later managed to break in and were shocked to find the Jacinta’s body hanging from the ceiling and that of the woman on the floor.
The man is said to have also left a suicide not behind, accusing his wife of having several affairs.
“I love her so much. She cannot date another man while I’m still alive. It is so stupid of me to do this (commit murder, suicide), but why should I live?” read the note, in part.
