Liverpool were sent crashing out of the Carabao Cup thanks to second half strikes from Shinji Okazaki and Islam Slimani.
Philippe Coutinho started for the Reds and was in the thick of the action as the visitors dominated the first half, but it was his half-time withdrawal combined with the introduction of Okazaki that changed the game.
