Meghan Markle joined boyfriend Prince Harry at Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding reception, after being a no-show at the earlier church ceremony.
The American Suits actress, 35, was not with Harry, 32, at St Mark’s Church in Englefield on Saturday morning, which had fuelled speculation she hadn’t been invited to any of the big day.
However, Meghan later joined Harry for the lavish reception, which took place in a specially constructed £100,000 glass marquee in the grounds of the Middleton family estate.
After leaving the ceremony to collect her, the smiling American actress was pictured arriving in a car with the royal just before the breathtaking flyover by a World War II Spitfire.
Harry is said to have driven all the way back to Kensington Palace – a 100-mile round trip – to collect the Suits star before driving back to the Middletons’ estate in Berkshire.
Meghan’s attendance at the reception marks the first time she’s known to have been included at an event with other members of the royal family, and the clearest sign yet that she’s been accepted into the royal fold.
