Spanish giants Real Madrid have won the 2016/17 La Liga title after beating hosts Malaga 2-0 on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the La Rosaleda Stadium.
Zinedine Zidane’s men knew before the match that a point will make them dethrone their bitter rivals Barcelona, and they did themselves lots of good by winning the game against a more determined Malaga side.
World’s best player Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal for Los Blancos in the 2nd minute after a wonderful pass from Isco, and the former Manchester United star sent Cameroonian goalkeeper Idris Kameni the wrong side.
Frenchman Karim Benzema netted the second goal for Real Madrid in the 55th minute after being superbly set up by Raphael Varane as the encounter ended 2-0 in favor of Real Madrid.
For the first time in club history, Real Madrid have scored in EVERY game of the season. #HalaMadrid #LaLiga http://pic.twitter.com/mqFtdbFKj4
