Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder aka ‘Damon Salvatore’ is going to be a first time dad!
Early this morning, both the 38-year-old actor and his actress wife Nikki Reed took to their Instagram pages to announce that they are expecting their first child together.
They broke the news by each sharing an adorable photo of Ian ki$$ing his wife’s stomach, accompanied with lovely notes.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed got married in 2015 and the couple recently celebrated their 2-year-anniversary by sharing beautiful photos from their wedding ceremony.
Nikki Reed, who is popular for her role in Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight films, was formerly married to American Idol star Paul McDonald until they divorced in 2014. Somerhalder, on the other hand, dated fellow Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev aka ‘Elena’ for 3 years before they split in 2013.
