Perhaps Kellyanne Conway recently watched Love Actually.
During a Wednesday night appearance on Fox News’ Hannity with host Sean Hannity, the senior advisor to President Donald Trump used printed signs as props to explain the scandal surrounding Donald Trump Jr. and his meeting with a Russian lawyer in 2016.
“In case you run out of time, this is how I see it so far,” Conway said, holding up two flash cards. “This is to help all the people at home. What’s the conclusion? Collusion? No. We don’t have that yet. I see illusion and delusion.” While reading, Conway crossed out the word “collusion.”
“So just so we’re clear, everyone: four words. Collusion, no. Illusion, delusion, yes,” she said. “I just thought we’d have some fun with words. A Sesame [Street] Grover’s word of the day, perhaps.”
Almost immediately, Conway’s appearance — and her use of signs to defend President Trump and his son — went viral, with many connecting her use of cue cards to Andrew Lincoln’s iconic scene in Love Actually (and others bemoaning the state of politics in 2017).

We are so past parody. But this will end with people going to jail. And she will end up rich. That's what happens with devil deals. https://t.co/jolpQwaeTb
