Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” Has Quietly Become His Most Successful Single Ever

fourth studio album I Decided. has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but instead of writing about an achievement he has previously earned (2015’s Dark Sky Paradise), I’d like to focus on “Bounce Back” quietly becoming Sean’s most successful solo single… ever.

On this week’s Hot 100, “Bounce Back” jumped nine spots from No. 15 to No. 6, becoming Sean’s third top 10 single—his first since 2011’s “Dance (A$$),” featuring Nicki Minaj (No. 10), and as featured on Bieber’s “As Long as You Love Me” (No. 6) in 2012—and the highest charting solo record of his career without a guest feature.
