Super Eagles player, Victor Moses provided the needed assist, as Chelsea extended their lead atop the English Premier League to 10 points in their 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor
While title beckons for Moses and Chelsea, the case is the opposite for Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi as Leicester City sank closer to the relegation zone by a 2-0 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
Moses found Pedro with a cross which was converted by the Spaniard to give Chelsea the lead, although Burnley later equalized courtesy of a well taken free-kick from Robbie Brady, Moses was however splendid for the minutes he was on the pitch.
At the end of a week where the Leicester hierarchy had felt required to publicly back Ranieri, this was not what the Italian needed as his side go ever closer to being the first English champions to be relegated the following seasons since 1938.
They are the first champions to lose five straight games in a season since Chelsea in 1956, are still without a league goal in 2017 and remain a solitary point above the bottom three.
