NPFL: Remo holds 3SC,as Akwa beats Abia Warriors

Shooting Stars of Ibadan failed to ease their relegation worries after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Remo Stars in their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 10 clash yesterday.
Sunday Faleye put the Oluyole Warriors ahead in the 36th minute of the encounter but Victor Mbaoma equalised for the visitors eight minutes after the break.
It was Mbaoma’s fifth goal of the campaign and he is now second in the top scorers’ chart behind MFM FC striker Stephen Odey, who has netted six times.
3SC remain in the 18th position in the NPFL table, while the Sky Blue Stars occupy the last position in the 20-team league.
