Job Title: Workshop Manager
Responsibilities
The Workshop Manager reports directly to the Technical Manager and will be responsible as follows:
- Ensure proper follow-up of the preventive Maintenance plans of all Company’s equipment.
- Establish the Mini & Max stock of spare parts of all equipment and follow up the purchase of needed spares with the Procurement Department in order to ensure availability of spares at at times.
- Ensure availability of all Company’s equipment at all times
- through the repairs and maintenance of the equipment.
- Daily planning and managing of workshop activities.
- Follow up the transfer of necessary spare parts to other workshops with a view of ensuring regular supply of spare parts to the workshops.
- Coordinate the activities of other workshops.
- Plan for the training and re-training of all workshop staff with a view to improving the performance of the staff.
- Ensure the Company’s regulations on Health and safe at work are strictly adhered to.
Qualifications
- HND/B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 yeas post NYSC cognate experience with 5 years at managerial level.
- Must be computer literate (MS Word and Excel).
- Must have good organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
