Ashley Mariam Yusuf, the CEO of Queen Ashley Foundation, is currently facing major clapback on social media after she put up the video of a hospitalised woman alleged to be the nanny of Tonto Dikeh and Churchill Olakunle’s son, King Adre.
From the video, Ashley is heard interviewing the woman who said she has been left at the hospital ‘since yesterday’. Asked if her ‘madam’ knew her state of health, the alleged nanny nodded in the affirmative.
“My team and I gave her money for her upkeep and we also paid for her medical bills.. General Hospital Maitama,” said Ashley, who then put up the woman’s account details, imploring Nigerians to raise funds for her treatment.
But the Queen Ashley Foundation CEO is facing a lot of backlash regardless of her seeming benevolent act, especially because she dragged King Andre and his parents’ name into her story.
“Lady, this post is so wrong and misleading on so many levels, tagging blogs and posting videos in a haste without hearing from the other side is exactly what’s wrong with the world today. She’s been in the hospital less than 24hrs for goodness sake but because she mentioned Churchill you tag blogs?? What do you want them to do with that information exactly? Help her if you want to but trying to put ideas into people’s heads for all the wrong reasons is just cold!!!!” One Instagrammer said.
Another added, “How low do people condescend just to gain fake and cheap popularity, thought u were with Tonto’s husband some time ago, how come u didn’t speak to him for possible assistance, and why dragging @tontolet name into your show of shame, fake ass people everywhere.”
Neither Tonto Dikeh nor her estranged husband, Churchill Olakunle has reacted to the story and may not need to since their fans are already doing a good job of it.
