Ed Sheeran Slept on Jamie Foxx’s Couch for Six Weeks Before Making it Big – Watch!

Jamie Foxx is sharing the story of his long relationship with Ed Sheeran!

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night (June 23), the 49-year-old Baby Driver actor shared that he invited the 26-year-old singer to stay at his house for over a month.

“Ed Sheeran slept on my couch for six weeks before he was famous,” Jamie said. “I was doing a radio show in L.A. and he knew that we do music so he came to my radio show.”

Ed would bring his music for Jamie to listen so that he could find his big break in the music industry.

“I said, ‘well let me hear it,’” Jamie said. “He comes to my crib…he plays and I’m like ‘you’re incredible.’”

“I said, ‘listen, I know you don’t have anywhere to go, just chill here,’” Jamie said. “I was giving him food and ‘my daughter was like ‘who do you have over here now?’”

Jamie went on to share that he would invite Ed to his radio show every Monday, and eventually Ed took to the stage to perform for the crew and producers.

“He pops out with his little red hair and a ukulele…and he went out there on that ukulele and got a standing ovation for 12 minutes,” Jamie said. “The rest is history.”
