Migos Confront Joe Budden During 2017 BET Awards Interview

Joe Budden‘s ongoing animosity towards trap rappers ain’t goin’ nowhere, folks. The New Jersey spitter got into a confrontation with Atlanta trio Migos during a special 2017 BET Awards interview on Everyday Struggle.

In the interview clip, which runs little over a minute, DJ Akademiks repeatedly asks Migos member Takeoff what he is saying – visibly agitated the trio. The question itself was regarding the latter being left off “Bad & Boujee.” “Do I look like I was left off of ‘Bad & Boujee?’” Takeoff fired back. Later on, mediator Nadeska explained via Twitter there were some issues supposedly due to all the noise on the red carpet.

“nothing staged. me and AK honestly couldn’t hear anything they were saying. only unerstood it all watching the footage back,” she replied to a fan who wrote, “Somebody let me know this isn’t staged so i cant laugh my ass off.”

Joe Budden, who was relatively silent up to that point, interjects Takeoff, saying “Alright, we gotta wrap this up though.” Quavo, another member, then responds: “Well wrap it up then.”

Things appear to go smoothly after that, with Akademiks thanking Migos for their time, but Budden proceeds to stands up, throwing his microphone on the floor, and walks out on the interview before its finished. Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset don’t take kindly to Budden’s actions, and follow suit by throwing their microphones down.

A brief altercation ensued between members of Migos’ entourage and Budden’s, before it was broken up by security.
