‘Mumu Time is Over!- Charly Boy Sets Date for Lagos Protests Against Buhari Government

Charly Boy is gearing to lead Lagosians on a march against the present administration which he holds responsible for the stifling economic conditions the nation is faced with.

Writing on his Instagram moments ago, the legendary singer said the march will kick off at the Oworonshoki end of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on June 12, and he urged Nigerians to step out and let their voices be heard.

Mumu time is Over. On Monday, June 12, all suffering, frustrated and angry Nigerians must flood the streets to express their anger and frustrations; to speak against the looters and criminals in our nation; to demand freedom and prosperity for our nation,” said Charly Boy,

Adding, “Come join the struggle as we march on Monday June 12. at 8am, takeoff point na The third mainland bridge oworonshoki side.”

This surprising move comes months after 2baba Idibia called for a nationwide marchagainst the government but the planned protests almost failed following his alleged arrest by the Nigerian police. This threatened the already hyped march. Folks dragged 2baba for filth and he would later return to explain that his plans were hijacked by unnamed elements.

However, where the legendary singer failed, others like Charly Boy and comedian Seyi Law stepped in to fill in the gap, prompting a mildly successful match in various cities.

Now, Charly Boy has chosen the iconic date June 12 for a new march and we wonder if folks will listen this time.
