Despite her efforts to leave him dry, Mary J. Blige has been ordered to pay her estranged husband $30,000 per month during the period of their divorce proceedings, TMZ reports.
According to the blog, a judge gave the order today, asking Mary J. Blige to pay Kendu Isaacs temporary spousal support because the court found that Isaacs was ‘entitled’ to some of her wealth to enable maintain the standard of living he was used to while married to the singer.
Recall that Kendu Isaacs had filed for $124,319 per month after he split up with the singer, and she filed papers asking the court to deny him that request. Now, she has lost that request and has been ordered to pay him less what he demanded. However she is expected to also pay Isaacs retroactive spousal support dating back to September, plus his attorney fees, all totalling $235k.
As though that was not a big enough blow to the singer, TMZ adds that the court has found out that the couple were living above their means, meaning they have millions of dollars to pay back to the government in taxes!
The singer has yet to react to this since the news surfaced.
